Fox’s Marina Yacht Club
If you have a love of all things boating, Then we are the club for you!
Our friendly members’ club was established in 1982, based from Fox’s Marina, which is perfectly placed on the River Orwell, just on the southern outskirts of Ipswich.
Throughout the year we organise several cruises-in-company to various marinas, where members can join us either by sea, or road, along with social get-togethers, fun sailing events and fishing competitions, which encourages our members to get out on the water and have fun.
We are slightly different to other clubs as we do not have our own club house, instead we have a Bar/Café/Restaurant (called “The Outlook”), which opens daily throughout the summer, and 5 days a week in the winter months. This is where members and non-members can meet, eat, drink and be merry with a fabulous view of the marina.
The Outlook building is joined to the Harbourmasters office, and where you will also find the marina toilets and showers. Fox’s Marina Yacht Club and The Outlook work together to offer our club’s social events, such as the Fitting Out and Laying Up suppers, Open Mic nights along with Halloween and New Years Eve parties.
